APERLAI styles are part of the permanent collections at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Brooklyn Museum of New York since 2012. APERLAI’s style is all about graphic and pure lines, and essential sophistication. The exhibits at the Moma and Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, artists such as MIRO, PICASSO and MONDRIAN for the colors, Ron ARAD and Ettore SOTTSASS for the structures…all nourishes the creation.
Born in Milan, Alessandra Lanvin lived between New York, Switzerland and London. Passionate of modern and contemporary art, degree in History of Art, she started working in the luxury accessory industry, where refined her vision of the market, craftsmanship, and knowledge of supply and demand. Today Alessandra lives in Paris together with her husband Hubert Lanvin, grandson of Jeanne Lanvin, the remarkable woman who launched the Couture label in 1909, and their son, Victor.
Avid shoe collector, in 2010 Alessandra launched her luxury shoe line APERLAI :
